We, the artists of Source, are driven by an unseen GENERATIVE FORCE to create unique furnishings and object d’art through a process of transformation. We have sleepless nights imagining how an old radiator can be turned into an entry table or how a French country window would make an exquisite bookcase. We are enamored with the power of transformation that keeps our world fresh and alive. The old becomes new again. The fallen tree becomes an elegant bowl. A salvaged stained glass window becomes a gothic bed. We believe in reusing, recycling and repurposing objects into beautiful and functional works of art. We are dedicated to being mindful of the Earth and future generations.
The Source studio is overflowing with found objects and creative raw materials from all over the world. We believe that using existing materials in a creative and resourceful way results in objects of beauty and meaning. Each found object or material comes to us with a story from its POINT OF ORIGIN. By giving objects new form and use, we open the possibility that their stories will evolve enriching our environments and adding texture to our lives. An old Pakistani prayer board integrated in a headboard bestows blessings on one’s sleep. An object from your past (Grandma’s picture frame, broken dishes, a piece of a piano…anything!) can be revitalized into a functional piece that will inspire you today. Reclaimed materials such as wood from old buildings or lumber milled from forest fire areas can be transformed into whatever your heart desires or your home needs.

We work with people to design unique furniture, doors, cabinets, and custom décor that embody their soul, imagination, personality, and needs. Our materials span the globe and the stylistic spectrum. We thrive on LOCATING PARTS OR MATERIALS from elsewhere; we obsess about finding the ultimate source. From porch pillars off Nebraskan farmhouses to damaged carvings from Thai Buddhist temples, almost any item on the planet can be transformed and revived into furnishings, doors, or objects d’art for your space.
